Children, Teenagers and Adults with special needs and physical and/or mental disabilities were not encouraged to be a part of mainstream society in Ghana for many years.  That is starting to change, in large part because of education of these special people and the necessary education of the public.

About Special Needs & Disabilities

Point Hope offers facilities for dozens of children with special needs to have equal access to basic education.

We provide healthcare, nutrition, and general welfare for over 36 children with special needs to stay in school.

Once they have gotten through basic education classes, Point Hope makes available opportunities for all capable students to have access to higher education or training in a specific sustainable skill.

Point Hope also partners with other organizations to make equipment and supplies available to people with special needs in order for them to be able to have mobility and ease in their lives.
