Sara Kiely

Sara Kiely, originally from Bend, now lives in Portland, Oregon, as she works in Public Health for the State of Oregon and pursues her Master’s Degree in Public Health through the University of Southern Florida.  Sara received her Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University in Public Health Education.

Prior to moving back to Portland, Sara traveled to Ghana and volunteered in the Nutrition Program with Point Hope Ghana.  She intended to stay for a few months, but ended up signing on as the Point Hope International Volunteer Coordinator; she remained in Ghana for approximately 18 months, offering invaluable assistance to volunteers and staff, alike.
